7 Days to Die frequently releases an experimental beta to show off and test all the new content being added in the next major update. In order to let our clients enjoy it to its full potential we make it very easy to switch to the experimental branch.

Important

Before making any changes to your server, be sure to back it up. You can find a guide on how to do this here.

  1. Login to your Shockbyte Control Panel and Stop the server.
  2. Navigate to the Server Type section.

  1. Under Edit Server, go to Version and change the environment to Experimental.

  1. Once you have made the changes, click on Next Step and then Save Changes.

  1. Restart your service.

  2. Right Click the game, then select Properties…

  1. Navigate to the Betas tab.

  1. Select the Beta you wish to use from the drop down menu.
