Admin commands are exclusive commands available for Valheim server administrators. There is a wide availability of commands for Valheim server administrators, ranging from kicking and banning players to enabling god mode.
Important
In order to run any admin commands you will need to be connected as an administrator.
# Enabling In-Game Console
Before you can enter any console commands in-game, you will need to be connected as an administrator, and have the console startup parameter enabled.
- From your Steam Library, Right-Click Valheim and click Properties.

To use a command in-game, you will need to open the in-game console and enter your desired command. For this example, we will be using the save command.

Important
By default, cheat commands are not available on multiplayer servers, however, they can be enabled using the Server Devcommands plugin.
- Connect to your Valheim server with admin permissions.
- PressĀ F5Ā to open the in-game console.
- Enter your desired command.
