Sometimes when running a Minecraft server emergencies can happen. Whether this be a hacker that has gained access to your server, or a an unauthorized griefer, we know how much of a headache a server emergency can be.
With our Shockbyte Panel, we have created the Server Lockdown quick action for you to use in emergencies, which kicks all online players and whitelists your server in one quick - allowing server owners to respond to an incident quickly and affectively.
# How to Use the Server Lockdown Feature
- Navigate to the Shockbyte Panel and open up your server.
- Navigate to the Tasks tab on the left menu.
- Click Run next to the Server Lockdown task.
When running the Quick Action, your server will immediately kick all online players, and a whitelist will be enabled to ensure only authorized players can rejoin.
If you need to access your server during the lockdown, you will need to add yourself to the whitelist with the command whitelist add <your username>
in the server console.
