Whitelisting your RimWorld Together server allows you to control exactly who can join. This helps prevent unwanted players from accessing your world and ensures that only approved members of your group can connect.

Players must have joined the server at least once before they can be added to the whitelist.

#Enable the whitelist

Before adding players, you must enable the whitelist in your server configuration.

  1. Access your control panel.

  2. Stop your server.

  3. Open the Files tab.

  4. Navigate to:

/Configs/WhitelistConfig.json

  1. Locate the setting UseWhitelist and set it to true.

  2. Click Save, then Start your server again.

Once enabled, only whitelisted players will be able to join.

#Add a player to the whitelist

You can add players to the whitelist using the server console.

  1. Access the Console tab in your control panel.

  2. Run the following command to list players who have joined the server:

deeplist

  1. Locate the player and copy their Player ID.

  2. Run the following command:

whitelistadd [Player ID]

Replace [Player ID] with the player's ID.

#Remove a player from the whitelist

If you want to remove a player from the whitelist, run the following command:

whitelistremove [Player ID]

#View the whitelist

To see all players currently whitelisted on the server, run:

whitelist
