Q: How are your servers so cheap?
A: We work on a different business model than most hosts - we have very small margins, however we operate on a much larger scale. We make a profit by selling a large amount of servers for a smaller price, rather than fewer servers for a higher price. Additionally, we lease our servers in bulk and for a long period of time, which allows our expenses to be discounted.

Q: How does the IP look, and can I get a custom IP from Shockbyte?
A: By default, the IP will be in the format of a regular IP ( The port at the end can be removed by ordering a Dedicated IP (How to Get a Dedicated IP). It is possible to create a free subdomain for your server at
