How to Change Your Minecraft Bedrock Server Version

At Shockbyte we offer many Minecraft Bedrock Edition Dedicated Server versions. To play with the latest game version, you will need to select the highest version available on your server type selector. Please note that the latest server version may be slightly higher or lower than the current game version due to the way Mojang manages updates.

  1. Navigate to your server's control panel.
  2. Click the Stop button to prevent any interference.

We highly recommend taking a backup of your server in case any unwanted changes surface up. To backup your server, please refer to this guide.
  3. Click the box labelled Server Type, open the Bedrock Edition #Recommended section and select the desired server version. We recommend that you pick the latest.

  4. Click Save at the bottom of the page, and the Start button to start your server again.
