How to Create and Destroy Cabins on your Stardew Valley Server

By default, Stardew valley only supports the creation of three additional cabins. If you require more players to join your server, it is possible for a server admin to manually create (or destroy) cabins.

Note: In order to create or destroy cabins you will need to be connected as an admin. If you just wish to move a Cabin you can check out this Knowledgebase article on how to do this.

Creating Additional Cabins

Cabins can easily be created by admins using the !cabin command. Cabins will remove any debris in the way (except large stones and logs).

  1. Connect to the server as an admin.
  2. Move to the location you wish to place a cabin.
  3. Enter one of the following cabin commands in chat.
    • !cabin (Creates a random cabin)
    • !cabin plank
    • !cabin log
    • !cabin stone
  4. A new cabin will be constructed in the direction that your character is facing.

Destroying Cabins

Important: Removing a cabin will destroy all of its contents and the player data linked to it. Before destroying a cabin ensure it is empty, if you destroy a cabin that a player owns they will have to create a new character.

Existing cabins can also be easily removed by admins using the !destroybuilding command.

  1. Connect to the server as an admin.
  2. Move to the cabin that you wish to destroy.
  3. Enter the !destroybuilding command in chat.
  4. The player cabin will be removed and a ServerBot message will be sent.
