Backing up and restoring your Valheim server is simple and protects your game data from crashes, updates, or unintentional changes. This guide will help you save your server files and restore them when necessary, ensuring your progress is secure and easily reloaded.
Important
Remember that your player data is stored on your own PC. This means that if your playerdata becomes corrupted on your PC, it won’t be possible to restore it from your Server Backup. You can quickly generate a manual backup at any time on your server's control panel.
Navigate to the Shockbyte Panel and open your server panel.
