At Shockbyte we offer many Minecraft Bedrock Edition Dedicated Server versions. To play with the latest game version, you will need to select the highest version available on your server type selector. Please note that the latest server version may be slightly higher or lower than the current game version due to the way Mojang manages updates.
Backup your Server

# Changing Server Version
You can change server version by specifiying the server type used by your instance.
- Access your control panel and Shut down your server.
- Click Edit Server.
- Complete the setup wizard, by selecting your desired version.
Once complete, click Save Changes.
Optional 4. Lastly, we suggest resetting your Minecraft world.
We suggest resetting your world as changing server version is very likely to cause issues/corruption to your world. You can do this by following our guide here: How to Reset your Minecraft World
