AssettoServer provides Assetto Corsa server owners with a range of new features such as highly configurable AI Traffic for free-roam maps, Dynamic weather including smooth weather transitions and rain.
AI Traffic is essential to many player-made maps and tracks such as the popular Shutoko Revival Project.
Important: In order to enable AI on your server you will be required to use a map/track with AI Splines.
Enabling AssettoServer
In order to install and configure AI drivers on your server you will need to first enable AssettoServer in your server's assetto.properties file.
Important: Please note, that the Web Panel will not be accessible when AssettoServer is enabled.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > FTP File Access.
- Login using your Multicraft password.
- Locate assetto.properties and click Edit.
- Set the use_assetto_server_mod option to
true.
- Save and Start your server.
Enabling AI Traffic
Once you're using the AssettoServer mod you will need to enable AI in your server's extra_cfg.yml and then add them to the entry_list.ini.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > FTP File Access.
- Login using your Multicraft password.
- Navigate to
/assetto/cfg.
- Locate extra_cfg.yml and click Edit.
- Set the EnableAi option to
true.
- Save, click Back and navigate back to
/assetto/cfg. - Locate entry_list.ini and click Edit.
- Under each car that you would like to make AI enter
AI=auto.
- Save and Start your server.
