How to Kick/Ban Players on your Vintage Story Server

Vintage Story server admins have a variety of commands at their disposal, including the ability to kick, ban and unban players from the server. These in-game commands enable admins to efficiently remove disruptive or unwanted players from the server.

Important: In order to run any of the commands on this page you will need to be connected as an administrator.

Using Moderation Commands

Once connected as an admin, you can use one of the following moderation commands to kick, ban, or unban players in-game.

  1. Connect to your server.
  2. Enter the appropriate command, from the list shown below:

    Command Description
    /Kick [Player Name] [Reason] Kicks the target player from the server.
    /Ban [Player Name] [Reason]
    Bans the player from the server.
    /Unban [Player Name]
    Unbans a currently banned player of your choice.
  3. Alternatively, you can use these commands in the Console section of your control panel.
