The Front dedicated servers offer two official game modes for server owners to choose between.
The Player vs Player (PvP) game mode allows players to battle amongst each other, raiding bases, stealing loot, and creating rivalries. Alternatively, the Player vs Environment (PvE) mode does not allow player combat, encouraging players to work together to defeat AI enemies and embrace game mechanics without the stress of having players attack you.
Changing Gamemode
You can set your server to be PvP or PvE in The Front Server Settings section of your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate Files > Config files.
- Click The Front Server Settings.
- Locate the Gamemode option, and select PvE or PvP from the dropdown.
- Save and Start your server.
- You can confirm that the game mode has changed as it will be displayed on the server list.
