Friendly fire is the act of attacking teammates, being able to deal damage or kill them depending on the game. To avoid the risk of being able to accidentally kill teammates in a gunfight, some server owners may disable it so that you can't deal damage to people in your squad. Otherwise, server owners may enable friendly fire to add additional risk or fun to their servers when in gunfights or simply messing around.
Toggling Friendly Fire
The friendly fire toggle can be found in your The Front Game Settings file in your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate Files > Config files.
- Click The Front Game Settings.
- Locate the Friendly Fire option, and set it to your desired value. If enabled, teammates are able to deal damage to each other. If disabled, then all teammates are unable to deal damage to each other.
- Save and Start your server.
