One of the main aspects of The Front is its leveling system, which enables you to advance and unlock technologies as you progress in the game. To illustrate, when you're at a lower level, you can use stone tools or the flintlock pistol, but as you increase your level, you'll be able to access more advanced items like iron tools or the double-barrel shotgun.
Experience points (XP) can be earned from a range of activities, including gathering, defeating enemies, and completing tasks. Server owners have the flexibility to customize the XP rewards for each of these activities, enabling faster player advancement based on their preferences. For instance, server owners with shorter wipe schedules can use this feature to accelerate player progression during the limited time between wipes, making it especially useful in such scenarios.
Changing XP Rates
You can configure XP rates from your The Front Multiplier Settings config found in your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click The Front Stat Multiplier Settings.
- Available in this config file, you can adjust Kill XP, Collection XP, Crafting XP, or All XP. The value you enter is a multiple of the default value - So if you set the value as 2, it will multiply all XP gain by 2 times.
- Once adjustments have been made, Save and Start your server.
