How to Configure the Range that Nameplates are Displayed at on your The Front Server

To distinguish between friendly players and enemy players in The Front, all players connected to a server will have a nameplate. Server owners have the ability to configure the distance at which these nameplates can be seen, with two different options each for friendly players, and non-friendly players.

Server owners may find it beneficial to configure these settings to allow squad mates to see each other further away, or see their enemies further away.

Configuring Nameplate View Distance

You can configure nameplate view distance in The Front Game Settings section of your server's config files.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click The Front Game Settings.

  4. Locate the nameplate options and set these to your desired values.
  5. Save and Start your server.
