HumanitZ's in-game server list includes hundreds of different servers, the only way to differentiate them is by their names. As such, it is important to configure a unique server name, especially when running a public server.
Your server name can also be used to display extra information such as the region your server is hosted in. This can be a great way for players to get a brief idea of what your server provides before they join.
Changing your Server Name
You can change your server's name in the HumanitZ Server Settings in your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate Files > Config files.
- Click HumanitZ Server Settings.
- Locate the Server Name option, and set your desired server name.
- Save and Start your server.
Now, when your server is displayed on the server list it will have the updated name.
