Server owners may wish to restrict access to their server and make it private for only select players to join. Soulmask servers allow you to define a password, which you can then share with the players you would like to have access to your server.
Configuring a Server Password
You can assign a password to your server in the Soulmask server settings file, located on your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate Files > Config files.
- Click Soulmask Server Settings.
- Locate the Password option, and set your server password.
- Save and Start your server.
The next time you try to connect to your server, you will be prompted to enter the assigned password before you can connect.
