How to Add an Admin to your V Rising Server

V Rising administrators have access to various commands in-game. A full list of these commands can be seen in-game by entering the command list into the in-game console.

Enabling In-game Console

To use the admin commands, you are required to use the console. By default, the console is disabled.

  1. Click Options.
  2. Click General.
  3. Enable Console Enabled.
  4. You can now open console with the tilde (`) key.

Assigning an Admin

Before you can assign a player as an admin, you will require their Steam64ID.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Open V Rising Server Settings.
  4. Locate Admins field, enter the Steam64ID of each player you wish to admin.
    • Ensure you seperate each ID with a comma and space.
  5. Save and Start your server.
  6. Connect to your server and open console with the tilde (`) key.
  7. Enter the command adminauth.
