How to Configure Your Mount & Blade 2 Server

Configuration can be a great way to personalise, improve, or bring variety to your Mount & Blade 2 server. Configuration primarily comes from the various gamemodes and their individual configuration files.

Info: You will not be able to configure your server using the Mount & Blade 2 web panel, instead, we provide an in-depth and feature-rich control panel to adjust various game modes and configuration settings.

Locating Config Files

All available config files and settings are accessible via your Multicraft control panel.

  1. Access your control panel.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. This page will show all the available Server Settings and configuration files for the available Mount & Blade 2 Multiplayer gamemodes.

Mount & Blade 2 Properties

MB2 Bannerlord Server Settings allows for a basic level of configuration for your server, mainly for server administration. The table below will explain each setting available to assist you in fully understanding your configuration options.

Option Default Value Description
Automatic Steam Updates (Recommended) Enabled Allows your server to update automatically alongside Steam.
Server Name A Shockbyte Server Assigns a name to your server, allowing you to find it via the in-game server list.
Max Players Depends on the purchased server plan. Assigns the maximum amount of players able to connect to your server at one time.
Server Token   Server tokens are required for your server to function, this assigns a server token to your server.
Server Password   Assigns a password to your server.
Game Mode FreeForAll Sets the gamemode active on your server. Options are FreeForAll, Team Deathmatch, Battle, Duel, Captain, Siege, and Skirmish.
