During Halloween of 2022, V Rising added two new game modes for servers to use: Mad Hunt PvP and Mad Hunt PvE. The Mad Hunt game modes randomize everything from V Blood locations, spell unlocks, and technology locations.
Even though these free-for-all modes are randomized and chaotic, there are limitations in place that prevent the inability to progress the game.

How to Enable Mad Hunt / Shuffle
To enable a Mad Hunt game mode on your V Rising server, you simply need to change the Game Settings Preset in your V Rising Server Settings file.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click V Rising Server Settings.
- Select either StandardPvP Mad Hunt or StandardPvE Mad Hunt from the Game Settings Preset dropdown.
- Start your server.
