Once your Barotrauma server is configured the way you would like it, you're ready to connect to your server. Barotrauma servers allow players to join via Direct Connect, or through the in-game server list.
Obtaining your Server IP
In order to connect to your server using direct connect, you will need to know both the server IP and port. These can both be found in your server's Multicraft control panel.
Once logged in you will be able to find your server's IP and port next to Server Address.
Joining with Direct Connect
Direct connecting is when you use your server IP address and port to join, which can be done by clicking the direct join button on the in-game server browser screen.
- Launch Barotrauma, and click Server Browser.
- Click Direct Join.
- Enter your Server Address and click Join.
- Alternatively, you can click Add to Favorites to add your server to your favourites list in the server browser.
Joining through the Server Browser
The server browser is the in-game server list of all Barotrauma servers, you can use the search function in this list to locate your server using its name.
- Launch Barotrauma, and click Server Browser.
- Search for your server name, and ensure you have filtered the list to match the configuration of your server.
- Select your server, then click join.
- If you would like to add your server to the favourites list, click the star icon.
