A key feature of HumanitZ dedicated servers is the level of configuration offered for many of the game features. Allowing server owners to completely customise their experience.
Accessing your HumanitZ Server Settings
Your primary server settings can easily be accessed using the HumanitZ Server Settings file located on the config page in your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click HumanitZ Server Settings.
Configuring your Server Settings
Once you have access to your server settings, you can make any required changes. The table below lists all of the available server settings.
Option | Description |
---|---|
Automatic Steam Updates | Enable or disable automatic steam updates and file validation on server startup. |
Steam Beta | (Optional) Enter the beta branch name of your desired HumanitZ server Steam beta. |
Server Name | Sets the name on the server browser list. |
Password | Sets a password to connect to your server. |
Save Name | The name of the save file you would like your server to use. |
Admin Password | The password used by admins to grant themselves admin permissions in-game. |
Maximum Players | Sets the maximum amount of players on your server. |
Permanent Death |
Sets what level of permanent death difficulty your server should use.
It's recommended public servers stay at 0. |
Zombie Health |
The difficulty level of zombie health.
