By default, dog companions are disabled on all HumanitZ dedicated servers. However, server owners can easily enable the feature, and customise it to their liking using their server configuration.
Configuring Dog Companions
You can enable, and customise the dog companion feature using the HumanitZ Server Settings file in your server's control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click HumanitZ Server Settings.
- Enter your desired value in the Dogs field.
0- Disabled (Default)1- Enabled
- Enter your desired value in the Number of Dogs field (Default: 4).
- Enter your desired value in the Recruit Dogs field. Disabling this will remove the ability for players to recruit dogs they may find.

- Save and Start your server.
