If you already had an Enshrouded world locally, or on a previous server, you can still use it on your new Shockbyte server.
Locating Local Enshrouded World Files
If you don't yet have your local Enshrouded world files on hand, you will first need to locate them.
- Open your Steam games library, right-click Enshrouded and select Manage > Browse Local Game Files.
- Navigate backwards to the Steam folder.
- Navigate to
userdata > (Your SteamID3) > 1203620 > Remote
. - Sort the folder by "Date Modified" to determine which world was played most recently.
- Set these files aside, you will need both the world file and the world_info file later.

- Open the
Saves
folder, then open your active save folder. By default it will be calledsave
. - Rename the existing world files by adding
(OLD)
to their names. - Upload your desired local
world
file andworld_info
file. - Change the name of the world files you just uploaded to match the name of your old world, as shown.
- Start your server.
Once your server boots back up, it will be using the existing world save you uploaded to your server.
