How to Set your Myth of Empires Server to Private

Setting your Myth of Empires server to private allows you to restrict access to select players and prevent uninvited players from joining and disrupting your gaming experience.

Currently, the only way to make your Myth of Empires server private is by setting a password for your server.

Setting a Password

You can set a password in your Myth of Empires Server Settings configuration file, found on your servers control panel.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click Myth of Empires Server Settings.
  4. Locate the Password option, and set your desired password.
  5. Save and Start your server.

When connecting to your server, you will receive a pop-up asking for a password.
