There are several reasons why a BungeeCord server may not start up. Remember that the first thing you should do when experiencing any issue is checking for errors in your server console.
Common Causes
- Most common: Your config.yml file has a YAML error. YML config files require a very specific format - even a slight error will mean the entire configuration can't be read. To solve this, you can check for YAML errors by pasting your config.yml file into a YAML parser such as: http://yaml-online-parser.appspot.com/
- The IP configured in your config.yml file is incorrect. We recommend using one of the BungeeCord versions we have already available on the control panel as it will automatically resolve this error.
