How to Join your Squad Server

Once your server is online and ready, it's time for you to connect. Currently, the only way to connect to your server is by using the in-game browser. Most servers are listed in the Custom Browser tab. In order to be listed in the Server Browser section, the Squad developers require the server to be licensed which requires the server to follow a fixed set of rules and submit an application.

More information on what's required to become licensed and the application process are available on the Squad Wiki here.

Joining Through The Custom Browser

Using Squad's Custom Browser list is the easiest way to join.

  1. On the main menu, click Custom Browser.
  2. Click on the Show Filters button and enable Show Empty Servers.
  3. Enter your Server Name into the search field.
  4. Select your server and click the Join Server button.

If you would like any additional information on how to configure your server, you can find our other Squad articles here.
