How to Kick/Ban Players from your The Forest Server

It is possible for a The Forest server Administrator to kick or ban disruptive players or unwanted from the server. This can easily be done using the in-game interface or admin commands.

Note: In order to kick/ban players you will need to be connected as an Administrator.

Using the Player List

The easiest way for an Administrator to kick or ban players is by using the in-game player list.

  1. Connect to your server as an Administrator.
  2. Press Tab.
  3. Click the Kick or Ban button next to the player's name.

Using Commands

A player can easily be kicked, banned or unbanned by a server Administrator entering the /kick/ban or /unban command followed by the player's Steam ID.

  1. Connect to your server as an Administrator.
  2. Press Enter key then enter either /kick or /ban or /unban followed by the player's Steam ID.
