Getting Started with your Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord Server

Put your combat skills to the ultimate test against friends, rivals and AI across several different game modes on a dedicated Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord Shockbyte server.

Add a Server Token 

Before you're able to run your Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord server you're required to generate and enter a Server Auth Token. This can easily be done using the in-game console.

Selecting a Game Mode Template

Before launching your Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord for the first time you will first need to select a game mode template and configure it to suit your needs. 

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click MB2 Bannerlord Server Settings.
  4. Select a Gamemode from the dropdown. 
  5. Click Save.

Customising a Game Mode Template

Although all of the available game modes come with predefined templates that will be more than sufficient for most users it is still possible to make changes to the way these templates are set up.
