Once your Insurgency: Sandstorm server is configured the way you would like it to be, you're ready to connect. We recommend you join your server using the in-game server browser.
Alongside the server browser, you can also directly connect to your server using your server's IP address.
Joining Using the Server Browser
To join using the in-game community server browser, you will need to search for your server name in-game.
- Launch Insurgency: Sandstorm.
- Click Play.
- Click Community Servers.
- Ensure your search filters match your server's details.
- Enter Server Name using the top-left search bar.
- Select your server and click Join. You can also click the ribbon button to add your server as a favourite.
Connecting via Direct Connect
To connect to your server directly, you can connect using your server address in-game.
Before you can direct connect, you will need to know both the server IP and port. These can both be found in your server's Multicraft control panel.
Once logged in, you will be able to find your server's IP and port next to Server Address.
- Launch Insurgency: Sandstorm.
- Click Play.
- Click Community Servers.
- Click Connect To IP.
- Enter your Server Address and click OK.
- Enter your Server Password if your server uses one; Click OK.
