How to Change the MOTD of your Insurgency Sandstorm Server

Insurgency: Sandstorm server owners are able to set a unique message of the day (MOTD) for their server. The MOTD will be shown to players on the loading screen while connecting to a server.

Changing your Server's MOTD

It is possible to set or change your server's MOTD in the Insurgency Sandstorm Server Settings found in your server's control panel.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click Insurgency Sandstorm Server Settings.
  4. Enter your desired MOTD in the Message Of The Day field.
  5. Save and Start your server.
