Insurgency: Sandstorm servers have a "vote kick" feature which allows players to vote to kick a player for any reason. If and when there are no moderators or admins available on your server, players can still remove disruptive players from the game by voting to kick them.
When voting is enabled, players can press Esc and select the Call Vote button to vote on an issue. While a vote is in progress, pressing F1 will vote yes and pressing F2 will vote no.
Enabling/Disabling Player Voting
To enable voting on your Insurgency: Sandstorm server, simply stop your server, enable voting in your server properties, and then start your server again.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Insurgency Sandstorm Server Settings.
- Change the Player Voting dropdown to either Enabled or Disabled.
- Save and Start your server.
