Carbon supports plugins from uMod and Codefling, allowing users to modify server features such as gather rates, admin permissions, ranks, kits, and more. It is also fully compatible with Oxide plugins.
Important: Before you can install Oxide or Carbon plugins onto your Rust server, you must install the Carbon Framework by following this guide.
Installing Plugins
A great feature of Carbon is that you can install and configure plugins from the in-game panel.
- Connect to your Rust server, and ensure you have auth level 2.
- Enter the command
/cpanelin chat.
- Navigate to Modules > Admin > Edit Config.
- Ensure DisablePluginsTab is not ticked, and click Save.
- Go back to the Carbon panel, and you will now have a Plugins tab.
- Select any plugin you wish to use from either Codefling or uMod, and click Download.
- You will be able to find any loaded plugins in the Local tab.
