How to Use Steam Betas on your 7 Days To Die Server

Steam games occasionally introduce new content through beta builds instead of stable releases. If you want to use this beta content on your 7 Days to Die server, rest assured that our servers support 7D2D beta builds.

Keep in mind, though, that these beta versions may have unresolved bugs that could affect your server's performance.

Enabling a Steam Beta

To enable a Steam Beta for your server, you must navigate to your 7 Days to Die server settings and define your desired Steam Beta.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click 7 Days To Die Server Settings.
  4. Locate the SteamBeta option and enter your chosen Steam Beta.
