As of the release of Stardew Valley 1.6, you can now use the new Meadowlands farm type. With a Meadowlands farm, players will start with 16 hay, a chicken coup, and includes many other changes.

How to Use the Meadowlands Farm

In order to use the Meadowlands farm-type, you will need to adjust a setting in your Stardew Valley Server Settings.

  1. Access your Control Panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files from the left-hand menu.
  3. Open up your Stardew Valley Server Settings.
  4. Locate Farm Name, and give your farm a new name.
  5. Locate the Farm Type option, and set the property to Meadowlands (1.6+ only).
  6. Save and Start your server.
