HOW TO FIND YOUR SERVER IP
In order to join your CS:GO server, you'll need to find your Server's IP address:
- Log in to your control panel.
- Copy the numbers in the Server Address field. Make sure to copy both the IP and the port.
CONNECTING THROUGH STEAM
You can join your CS:GO server through Steam by following these steps:
- In the Steam client, navigate to View > Servers.
- Navigate to the Favourites tab and click Add A Server.
- Enter your Server Address and click Add This Address To Favorites.
- Select your server from the list and click Connect.
- (Optional) Enter your Server Password if one has been set, and press Connect. To set a password, refer to this guide.
- You are now connecting to your CS:GO server!
CONNECTING THROUGH THE IN-GAME CONSOLE
You can also join your server by entering its IP via the CS:GO console, to do this, you will need to enable the Developer Console.
- Press the ~ key to open the console. On most keyboards, this key is located at the top left next to the number 1.
- From the console, type the command
connect [ServerIP]
orconnect [ServerIP]; password [ServerPassword]
if a password has been set and press enter or click Submit. - You are now connecting to your CS:GO server!
CONNECTING THROUGH THE COMMUNITY SERVER LIST
Another method to find your server is via the community search list if your server has been set to be publicly visible. This is most likely the method you will use for friends to be able to join.
- Play CS:GO in the main menu.
- Go to the Community Server Browser
- Now search your server by using the set Tags, select your server and press connect.
- You are now connecting to your CS:GO Server!
