How to Join Your CS:GO Server

Once your CS:GO server has a valid GSLT token configured, you can start your server for players to connect and play. The recommended way to connect to your CS:GO server is by connecting through the Steam client.

Obtaining your Server IP

In order to connect to your server, you will need to know both the server IP and port. These can both be found in your server's Multicraft control panel.

Once logged in, you will be able to find your server's IP and port next to Server Address.

Connecting via Steam

To connect to your CS:GO server using Steam, you will need to enter your server's IP and port into the Steam server viewer.

  1. In the Steam client, navigate to View > Game Servers.
  2. Navigate to the Favourites tab and click Add server by IP.
  3. Enter your Server Address and click OK.
  4. Select your server from the list and click Connect.
  5. (Optional) Enter your Server Password if one has been set, and press Connect. To set a password, refer to this guide.

Connecting via Developer Console

After you have enabled the Developer Console, you will be able to connect using a command in the developer console.

  1. Press the ~ key to open the console.
  2. Type and Submit the command connect [ServerIP] or connect [ServerIP]; password [ServerPassword] if a password has been set.

Connecting via Community Server List

If you have configured tags on your CS:GO server you will be able to search for and locate your server on the community server browser.

Note: If you have already added your server as a Steam favourite, it will only appear in your favourites tab!
  1. Click Play CS:GO.
  2. In the matchmaking type dropdown menu, select Community Server Browser.

  3. Search for your custom server tags; you may need to click Refresh All.

  4. Select your server and click Connect.
