This guide will assist you with changing your map to any map in the game.
Before we start, it's important to note that which maps you can run on your server is determined by your Game Type and Game Mode - that means you can't play a Danger Zone map on a competitive server. HOW TO CHANGE THE EXISTING MAP
IN-GAME MAP VOTE
You can call a map vote in-game so that everyone online can vote for the new map. Whichever map gets the most votes is selected (if there is 1 player online, the vote always passes).
- While connected to the server, press the escape key to bring up the menu.
- Press the Call Vote icon on the right-hand side.
- Select
Change Map...
. - Select the map you want to start a vote for.
- If the vote succeeds, the map will instantly change to the voted map, regardless of the current game state.
CONSOLE MAP CHANGE
This will instantly change the server map to the map specified, regardless of the current game state.
- On your control panel console, enter the command
changelevel [Map Code]
.
HOW TO CHANGE THE DEFAULT MAP
- Login to your server's control panel.
- On the left-hand side, click Files > Config Files.
- Open CSGO Server Settings.
- Change the Map option to the Map Code of the map you want.
- Press the save button at the bottom of the page and then restart your server.
