Using custom maps on your Garry's Mod server allows you to create a wonderful gaming experience. With the vast amount of maps available in the workshop, the possibilities are endless!
- Find a map you would like on the Steam Workshop.
- Create a Steam Workshop Collection with your Map Mod.
- Add the Steam Workshop collection to your server.
- Inside
gmod.properties, set the map property to the name of your desired map.
- Press Save at the bottom of the page and restart your server.
If everything was changed successfully, the next time you connect your custom map will be loaded onto your server!
