An additional feature of a Skyrim Together Reborn server is the ability of players to drop gold upon death. This could be means of PvP, or PvE. Having this as a feature could provide an additional challenge to your server, or simply be removed to avoid frustration.
You may wish to configure the amount of gold players lose each time they die. By default, this setting is disabled meaning players lose nothing when they die.
The Gold Loss option can be set to any value between 0 and 1. For example, if you want players to not lose any gold when they die set the value to 0 (0%), or for players to lose all of their gold set it to 1 (100%). Each 0.01 value represents 1% of total gold carried by the player to be dropped.
Configuring Gold Loss
The percentage of gold a player loses per death can be set in your server's Skyrim Together Server Settings file.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Skyrim Together Server Settings.
- Enter your desired amount in the Gold Loss Factor field.
- Click Save and Start your server.
