A MOTD (Message Of The Day) is an introductory message when players connect to your server, which allows you to attach a link to advertise your websites or socials!
Setting a MOTD URL
To assign a URL to your MOTD, you can do this via Mordhau Server Settings on your control panel.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Open Mordhau Server Settings.
- Locate the MOTD URL option, and assign a URL to it. Do not include
https://as it will break the link because the server will automatically assign one.
- Save and Start your server.
- Once connected, the URL appears as the MOTD.
