Team deathmatch and deathmatch gamemodes on Mordhau servers allow server owners to modify the duration of the match. Luckily, Shockbyte offers quick access to the file where these changes can be made.
Although other gamemode durations are able to be modified in theory, the configuration parameters for these gamemodes may not work due to official Mordhau bugs.
Accessing Game.ini
Before you can change the duration of matches, you will need to access the game.ini file.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Game.ini.
Set Match Duration for Deathmatch
If your Mordhau server uses the Deathmatch gamemode, you can change the duration of the match in your Game.ini file.
- Copy the following text and paste it at the bottom of your Game.ini.
[/Game/Mordhau/Blueprints/GameModes/BP_DeathmatchGameState.BP_DeathmatchGameState_C] MatchDurationMax=DURATION IN SECONDS - Modify the pasted text to reflect your desired match duration.
- Save and Start your server.
Set Match Duration for Team Deathmatch
If your Mordhau server uses the Team Deathmatch gamemode, you can change the duration of the match in your Game.ini file.
- Copy the following text and paste it at the bottom of your Game.ini.
