How to Install Mods on your Eco Server

There are a huge variety of mods available to Eco server owners ranging from small quality-of-life improvements to gameplay additions. Modding is a great way for server owners to expand the amount of content available to their players when building a unique Eco game server.

Installing Server Mods

For the purposes of this example, we will be installing mods from mod.io, however, you may find a wider variety of mods available on this forum.

Note: Some mods may require additional steps to install, please read any installation instructions that may be present on mod pages.
  1. Navigate to the Eco mod.io page.
  2. Locate and select your desired mod.
  3. Click the Download File button.
  4. Right-Click > Extract All the zipped mod file.
  5. Access your server files via FTP, we recommend using Filezilla.
  6. Navigate to the /Mods directory.
  7. Upload the mod folder you recently unzipped.
  8. Access your control panel and Restart your server.
