How to Set the Name, Description and Category of your Eco Server

Some common customisation options for Eco servers include the server name, description, and category. Configuring these options allow you and your players to more easily identify your server on the in-game server browser.

Additionally, the description and category will allow potential players to correctly find your server using the server browser filters.

Configuring Common Eco Server Settings

To quickly configure common Eco server settings you will need to stop your server, make your changes, and then start your server again.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click Eco Server Settings.
  4. Set the Server Name field to your desired name.
  5. Enter your desired description in the Server Description field.
  6. Select your Server Category using the dropdown.
  7. Save and Start your server.
