How to Change the XP Rate on your Eco Server

The default XP rate in Eco is designed with the idea of dozens of players in mind, however, if you're playing with a small group, you may find that the XP rates are extremely slow for your group! Raising the XP rate of your server allows players to gain levels at a faster rate and progress quickly.

Changing the XP Rate

You can increase the base XP rate inside using your EcoSim.eco configuration file, found in your Multicraft control panel.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click EcoSim.eco (normally found on page 2).
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the file until you find the BaseSkillGainRate field.
  5. Change the number to any number above 0.0, the in-game XP rate will be multiplied by this number.
  6. Save and Start your server.
