How to Configure Visibility on your Eco Server

By default, your Eco server will appear on the "New Game" server browser in-game regardless of if you have a whitelist and/or password configured.

If you have the intention of hosting a private server, you can hide your server from the server list. When your server is hidden from the in-game server list, players will only be able to join by using the direct connect feature.

Disabling Public Status

To hide your server from the in-game server list, you can disable public mode in your Eco server settings.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click Eco Server Settings.
  4. Set the Public Server field to Disabled.
  5. Save and Start your server.
