Once you have finished configuring your Killing Floor 2 server, you can start your server for players to connect and play. The recommended way to connect to your Killing Floor 2 server is by direct connecting using the in-game console.
Although you can locate and connect to your server using the in-game server list, it is much quicker to simply direct connect to your server as there is no filter option to search for your server's name.
Obtaining your Server IP
In order to connect to your server using direct connect, you will need to know both the server IP and port. These can both be found in your server's Multicraft control panel.
Once logged in you will be able to find your server's IP and port next to Server Address.
Joining with Direct Connect
Direct connecting is when you use your server IP address and port to join, which can be done by entering a command into the in-game developer console.
- Launch Killing Floor 2, and press the
'key. - Enter the command
Open <YOUR SERVER ADDRESS>.
