Locating Mutator Mod Workshop IDs
Before you can install a Killing Floor 2 custom mutator mod, you will need to locate the mod's Steam Workshop page and copy its Workshop ID.
- Navigate to Killing Floor 2's Steam Workshop page.
- Locate and select your desired custom mutator mod.
- Copy the numbers at the end of the URL, this is the Workshop ID.
Automatically Installing a Custom Mutator
Custom Mutators should be installed the same way as a mod, and then added to the Mutators field (separated by commas) in your killingfloor2.properties file.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Killing Floor 2 Server Settings.
- Add the mutator's Workshop ID in the Mods field. Additional mods should be separated by a comma (,).
- Add the custom mutator name to the Mutators field (separated by commas).
A mod's mutator name can usually be found in the description on the mod's Steam Workshop page and will typically follow a naming convention ofSomething.SomethingMutator.
- Save and Start your server.
