Locating Custom Map Workshop IDs
Before you can install a Killing Floor 2 Custom Map, you will need to locate the map's Steam Workshop page and copy its Workshop ID.
- Navigate to Killing Floor 2's Steam Workshop page.
- Locate and select your desired custom map.
- Copy the numbers at the end of the URL, this is the Workshop ID.
Automatically Installing a Custom Map
Custom Maps are installed by installing the map to your server, and then setting it as the active server map in your Killing Floor 2 Server Settings.
- Access your control panel and Stop your server.
- Navigate to Files > Config Files.
- Click Killing Floor 2 Server Settings.
- Add the map's Workshop ID in the Mods field. Additional mods should be separated by a comma (,).
- Set the Server Map field to the exact name of the custom map you are installing.
This can usually be found in the description on the map's Steam Workshop page and will typically begin withKF-.
- Save and Start your server.
