How to Install SourceMod on your Counter Strike: Source Server

SourceMod is a popular modding framework for CS: Source servers that is required to run any plugins. Many popular community server features like zombie escape, are accomplished using plugins/mods.

Thanks to Shockbyte's native SourceMod support, you can install SourceMod easily using your server's control panel.

Installing SourceMod

SourceMod can be installed on your server by enabling it in the Counter Strike: Source Server Settings section of your server's control panel.

  1. Access your control panel and Stop your server.
  2. Navigate to Files > Config Files.
  3. Click Counter Strike: Source Server Settings.
  4. Set the Install SourceMod dropdown to Enabled.
  5. Save and Start your server.
